When you finish a scene or a short story and you reread it immediately:
“Wow, this is the best thing I’ve ever written.”
When you read it a week later:
“Wow, this is garbage.”
Great thing about writing: You get more skilled at your craft every day.

While death brings immense grief and sorrow, for those of us who are Christians there is also hope and peace. The grief comes in knowing they are no longer with us, but the hope and peace is knowing that they are free from this world and we’ll see them again. Our loved ones are in heaven praising God with no pain or tears. One day we’ll see them again and death isn’t the end.
